The Gen Con Tapes: 2024
From July 31 to August 4, 2024 John and Brontë travelled to Indianapolis to experience their first ever Gen Con. It was a wild trip full of new board games, RPGs, food, and of course — a whole lot of Sorcery: Contested Realm.

We are truly overwhelmed by everyone who said they listen to the podcast, grabbed some stickers, talked shopped, and played against us. Sorcery has an amazing community and we know this all just getting started.
Below you’ll find an archive of 2024’s The Gen Con Tapes, smaller episodes we recorded every night after jampacked days. We talk about playing sealed, drafting Sorcery, and the Constructed Championship that took place over the weekend.
Thanks for listening along and we hope you enjoy this year’s Gen Con Tapes!
The Gen Con Tapes: Babies' First Gen Con
An exclusive look at the Death's Door bois first time at this massive gaming convention and what we are looking forward to in the days ahead.
The Gen Con Tapes 2: Back to the Drafting Board
The first official day of Gen Con was full of Delta Green, Starfinder 2e, and, of course, Sorcery: Contested Realm. Drafting was a blast, and the podcast team is tired.
The Gen Con Tapes 3: Pre-Tourney Palooza
At day two of Gen Con, John and Brontë didn't play much Sorcery. Instead they geeked out about so many cool games and events. Now it's time to prep for Saturday's constructed tournament.
The Gen Con Tapes 4: We're Cooked
With Gen Con coming to a close, John and Brontë debrief on their takeaways from the weekend and recap the day's constructed tournament.
